Almost ten years have passed since 2005. All this time blogging and writing articles. Thousands of articles and hundreds of web pages. Numbers that mean only one thing: it is never quantity that makes us perfect, but quality. In all these years I have made some mistakes, three mainly, which I want to confess because I have learned from those mistakes and someone else will be able to do the same. #1 – Writing without an editorial plan There was a time when there was no talk of an editorial plan and calendar. In fact, even today, I am convinced that some people don't know what they are. Once upon a time you opened a blog and had your say.
The world was spoken about and perhaps those times were better, perhaps there was more humanity in blogging than now. I did this for several years. I opened 20 blogs, on Phone Number Data the most disparate topics, and I simply wrote. Now those blogs are dead and the only ones that remain alive are those that have a clear project behind them. Writing on the blog without an editorial plan is like building a house without a plan. CLICK TO TWEET Especially in corporate blogging, the editorial plan has enormous importance, because it is precisely on that plan that all of the company's online communication depends. The site is used to sell, but the blog is used to communicate. What? Certainly not how good you are and how excellent your products and services are.
It serves to communicate who you are, it serves to win over potential customers, but you won't win them over by trying to sell them something every day, but by helping them live a part of their life in relation to what you sell. #2 – Post more than once a day In my Blue Pen blog I initially posted 2 times a week, but after 3 months I started posting every day. There was a particularly flourishing period, in which I had lots of ideas, and so I made the mistake of publishing several times even in the afternoon. In just one week I even managed to publish 17 posts. Why is this an error? Because the reader was bombarded with articles and certainly couldn't find the time to read and comment on everything.
